About three dozen people gathered about half an hour before Lynn Elliott’s convicted killer, David Alan Gore, was put to death Thursday evening by lethal injection at Florida State Prison in Starke.

The families of Barbara Ann Byer and Lynn Elliott, who were both killed by Gore in the early 1980s, meet Thursday.
Gore, with assistance from Waterfield on some, killed six woman in the 1970s and 1980s in Indian River County. The duo are known as the ‘Killing Cousins.’
